Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Born on the 2nd of December, 1981 at Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model best known for her appearances in both film and TV series. Brandt had her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. She began her acting career in New Zealand on Diplomatic Immunity. The actor was on several shows in the course of the last 10 years, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Since 2016 Brandt is playing the role as Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born and lived in Cape Town South Africa and later immigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Her first job was as a model when she appeared in commercials and print ads. Prior to her rise fame as a model she was employed in sales at retail as well as working as an IT recruitment consultant. The role she played was Leilani Fa'auigaese in the New Zealand TV sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in the year 2009. Her first major appearance came in 2021, when she was the character of slave girl Naevia as part of the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The role of Naevia in the show was reprised in the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). Her first role was Mazikeen an evil demon that seeks bounty on Netflix's hit series Lucifer. It's also her biggest character to date. In the show, she is paired with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast at the New York Stock Exchange. She has many highly acclaimed show to her name. She is a broadcasting veteran with over a decade of journalism experience covering the economy and business. Her contribution was vital in helping to make CNBC one of the top channels that broadcast in this area. It is easy to see how her successful journalism career was meant to be hers. But as a teenager, Maria was very confused about which career path to choose. At one point she wanted to sing, and one day she would want to be or an interior designer. But when she discovered the joy journalism had to offer there was no turning back. The feisty lady is not just an excellent journalist but it is also an inspirational figure for women who want to make the big time in a male dominant world. Her name was included in the fifty Faces Who Shaped the Decade she was also the first ever female journalist to be recognized in the Cable Hall of Fame. Also, she is an author as well as a columnist.
